The Government of North Macedonia has extended the submission of the application for the water concession tender for the development of the Čebren hydropower plant (HPP) on the river Crna and the operation of existing HPP Tikveš until June 5, 2020.
The initial launched a prequalification tender for the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of new hydropower plant Cebren and Dam Orlov Kamen (with the possibility for HPP), as well as operation of the existing hydropower plant Tikves, was on April 3, 2020.
The project will be developed under the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme. The winning bid will be established in partnership with the power utility Elektrani na Severna Makedonija.
