Girisim Elektrik awarded the 10 MW solar project development in Oslomej

North Macedonia’s state-owned electricity producer Elektrani na Severna Makedonija (ESM – formerly ELEM) have signed a contract with Girisim Elektrik for the development of a 10 MW solar photovoltaic plant in Oslomej. 

The project secured a EUR5.9 million loan financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). 

The solar plant is expected to enter operation before the end of 2020.
