Ingeteam supplies inverters for 11.7 MW solar project in Oslomej

Ingeteam SA has supplied solar inverters for the 11.7 MW solar project in Oslomej, built alongside a coal-fired power plant located in Kichevo, Macedonia.

The project is financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and equipped with eight Ingeteam solar inverters of 1,400 kW each. The first phase of 11.7 MW of installed power has been built by Europower Solar, belonging to the Turkish group Girisim Elektrik A.S.

The ESM Macedonia has signed a public-private partnership (PPP) concession for the 100 MW photovoltaic solar power plant with Solarpro Holdings and Fortis Energy. Each company will be responsible for the development of one 50 MW solar PV plant located near the 11.7 MW solar project. The 100 MW solar facility has a total investment of EUR70 million (US$86 million) with a concession period of 35 years.
