Glennmont Partners has entered the Nordic market with the acquisition of a 211.4 MW onshore wind project in Finland through its Clean Energy Fund III. Glennmont’s Clean Energy Fund III has acquired the wind farm, called Piiparinmäki, from Ilmatar Energy for an undisclosed value.
The project is ready to be installed, with its construction starting in October. Glennmont announced that Piiparinmäki has agreed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Google covering a significant portion of the total production. Once the project is operational, Ilmatar will provide technical and commercial management services.
