Google has reached an agreement with Ilmatar Energy, a joint venture of Omnes Capital-managed Capenergie 3 and Ilmatar Windpower plc, for the purchase of 125 MW of electricity from the Piiparinmäki wind farm to be built in Kainuu region of Finland. The project will bring 211 MW of new green energy to the Finnish power grid.
Piiparinmäki wind farm will be built between 2019 and 2021 and will start production already in 2020.
