Intelligent Land Investments Group (ILI) has sold its 50 MW Auchteraw battery storage project near Fort Augustus to Virmati Energy Ltd, trading as Field.
This latest transaction will increase ILI’s funded battery projects to 250 MW with a further 750 MW being prepared for the market during the next 12 months.
Field is building out renewable energy infrastructure to accelerate the transition towards net zero. It has a pipeline of a further 270 MW of battery storage projects in exclusivity and plans to have 1.3 GW operational by 2024.
