Iberdrola SA has committed to developing the 145 MW Flyers Creek onshore wind farm in central-west New South Wales, Australia. The construction works for the project will begin in March 2022 and will create 230 jobs.
Flyers Creek will consist of 38 wind turbines. Once operational it should be able to generate 450 GWh of electricity per year, enough to power over 80,000 Australian households and offset over 330,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2).
