Iberdrola SA has started the construction of 50 MW Andevalo solar photovoltaic park in Puebla de Guzman.
The Andevalo solar PV park will be built inside the El Andevalo wind complex in Huelva province. The project will consist of 147,000, 340 Wp polycrystalline silicon modules that will generate 82 GWh annually and offset more than 100,000 tons of CO2 per year.
In September 2019, Iberdrola has signed an 11-years power purchase agreement (PPA) deal with the HEINEKEN España. Iberdrola will supply energy to the breweries and offices of the company.
The Andevalo solar PV park is scheduled for operation by 2020.
