Honda do Brasil to build 30 MW wind farm in Rio Grande do Sul state

The Brazilian unit of Honda Motor Corporation, Honda do Brasil, is set to build the 30 MW wind project in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. 

The facility, consists of nine wind turbines, can generate up to 306 GWh of energy per year offsetting up to 24,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. The project will be developed in the municipality of Xangri-La.
