CPFL completes 5 MWp Capim Branco solar PV project in Minas Gerais

CPFL Energia has completed the development of its 5 MWp Capim Branco solar photovoltaic project located in Uberlandia town, Minas Gerais, Brazil. 

The BRL21.7 million (US$ 5.8 million) will power up to 280 of the telecom's stations in Minas Gerais, which represents approximately 18% of the company's total consumption in the state.

The facility consists of 15,540 PV panels, 37 inverters, and four transformers, covering an estimated 85,000 sq.m area. The facility can produce up to 9,300 MWh per year, enough to supply 3,875 families.
