Interconexion Electrica SA ESP (Grupo ISA) has been awarded the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a 275-km transmission project in a public tender launched by Colombian national mining and energy planning unit UPME.
The project will connect the 500-kV Sogamoso and the 500-kV La Loma substations in the departments of Norte de Santander and Cesar. ISA INTERCOLOMBIA, the subsidiary of the company will execute the construction and operation of the project.
