Irish renewable infrastructure company Greencoat Renewables Plc has completed the acquisition of an operational 11.5 MW wind project in Ireland.
The 11.5 MW An Cnoc wind farm is located in County Tipperary. The facility consists of five Enercon E70 turbines and has been in operation since March 2018. It has secured a government contract under the REFIT 2 support scheme for renewables until 2032.
Greencoat has financed the deal from a syndicated loan of EUR200 million (US$236.1 million) from Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank, and Natwest.
