Greencoat UK Wind (UKW) is set to acquire the 75% stakes in Tom nan Clach wind project from Belltown Power for consideration of GBP126 million (USD164.824 m), including a share of project finance debt.
The Tom nan Clach project is a 39 MW wind project located in Nairnshire, Scotland, and is currently in the final stages of construction. It consists of 13 Vestas V112 turbines, restricted to 39.1MW connection capacity with a forecast net load factor is 48% (as a percentage of 39.1MW). The facility will benefit from a 15 year Contract for Difference (CFD) of GBP91.14 (USD119.223) (2018 real, CPI indexed).
The transaction is scheduled to complete in July 2019, 30 days after the commencement of commercial operations.
