Greenalia has obtained the administrative construction permit and the public utility declaration (DUP) for its 40.5 MW Campelo onshore wind farm in Galicia, Spain.
Planned between the towns of Coristanco and Santa Comba in A Coruña, the project involves around EUR40 million (US$45.5 million) investment. The wind farm already has the corresponding Environmental Impact Statement (EIA) and includes 9 wind turbines, with a 4.5 MW unit power, a 112 meters hub height, and a 136 meters rotor diameter.
Greenalia has introduced different modifications to the project during the permitting process to minimize potential impacts and respond to proposals, allegations, and conclusions from the respective sectoral reports.
