The government of Montenegro has signed the contract with WPD Windmanager for the construction of a 70 MW wind farm located in the village of Brajici, near Budva.
The EUR101.3 million (US$118.87 million) wind farm is expected to generate about 220 GWh of electricity per year, enough power to supply for about 50,000 households.
In October 2020, the consortium of WPD Windmanager and a local company in Montenegro, Vjetroelektrana Budva, is the sole bidder for the tender launched for the construction of the wind project.
