Gore Street Energy Storage Fund has completed the acquisition of an 80 MW battery energy storage project in the UK from energy developer Renewable Energy Systems (RES Group).
The project is construction-ready with the land rights, grid connections, and planning consents already secured. The Fund is estimated to invest up to GBP30 million (US$42.42 million) during the construction phase.
The project is expected to be commissioned by the first quarter of 2023.
