Univergy Solar, a unit of Univergy International SL, is seeking a financial partner to build a 500 MW floating wind farm project off the coast of Scotland.
The Project Scotia Ventus will be built northeast of Scotland. It is estimated to require about GBP28 million (US$32.5 million) of investment in the development phase and GBP1.2 billion (US$1.697 billion) in the construction phase.
The construction phase of the project is expected to take place between 2026 and 2028 with the target commissioning by 2028.
The potential partner in the development of the wind farm will be provided with due diligence and project studies of Univergy.
