Global Energy Services (GES) has completed the construction of the 49.9 MWp Huelva 2021 solar photovoltaic project located on 85 hectares (210 acres) of land in Huelva province, Andalusia Region, Spain. The project is owned by Alter Enersun.
GES has been in charge of detailed engineering, the management of the procurement of machinery and main equipment with the only exception of photovoltaic and transformer centers, and the construction of all the project facilities, including the photovoltaic plant, electrical substation, and evacuation line.
The PV plant Huelva 2021 reduces 90,000 tons per year of CO2 and generates around 100 GW annually, equivalent to the energy consumption of 28,000 households.
