Spanish fund manager Q-Energy has closed the refinancing package for the 49.9 MW concentrated solar photovoltaic (CSP) project located in Fuente Palmera in southern Spain.
The EUR283 million (US$334 million) was provided by a bank syndicate consisting of Banco Santander SA, BNP Paribas SA, and CaixaBank SA to a special purpose vehicle structured by Q-Energy for the CSP plant.
Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has advised the lenders in the transaction.
