Geonext Corporation completes acquisition of Hirono and Koyu solar projects in Japan

Geonext Corporation, through its subsidiary, Area Energy, has completed the acquisition of two solar projects from Shikishima Farm Co.

The projects acquired are the 1.99 MW Hirono solar farm located in Fukushima Prefecture and the 0.936 MW Koyu solar farm in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan.

The deal is expected to close on October 15 with the payment and transfer of rights to be done by November 2.

Financial details were not disclosed.
