GE Renewable Energy has been awarded a contract by Juwi AG to two 5.5 MW turbines for the Ebenheim-Weingarten wind project in Thuringia, Germany.
The project is recently sold to the CEE Group and is expected to be completed by mid-2021.
GE Renewable Energy is set to deliver 60 units turbines, with a capacity between 5.3 MW and 5.5 MW, as part of the framework agreement with Juwi AG. The turbines will have a hub height of about 121 to 161 meters and a rotor diameter of 158 meters.
