Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has acquired a majority stake in a 600 MW battery electricity storage systems (BESS) portfolio in Greece from Wootis SA. The project is divided into multiple sites around the country.
All of the projects are at an advanced stage of development and are anticipated to be operational between Q4 of 2019 and Q2 of 2024.
FRV and Wootis will collaborate on further developments in the country in addition to the 600 MW projects.
