Fortum has signed a 12 year PPA with Finnish oil company Neste for the 90 MW Kalax Onshore Wind Farm in Närpiö, Finland. The construction of the Kalax wind farm was started in the spring of 2019.
The contract covers 70% of the plant’s production. The plant will consist of 21 wind turbines and will have an annual output of more than 0.3 TWh. The estimated completion of the plant is towards the end of 2020.
