Fortum and Tata Power win 500 MW solar tender in Karnataka

Fortum and Tata Power have won the solar power tender held by the Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL) with 250 MW each capacity. The projects will be located at Pavagada solar park and are planned to be commissioned for the third quarter of 2019.

The output of the facilities will be sold at INR 2.85 per kWh.
