Finerge has purchased two Portuguese wind farms from Brookfield Renewable Partners.
Located in Arganil and Montalegre, the assets have a combined operating capacity of 123 megawatts. Separately, the assets are known as Toutico, with 102 megawatts, and Lomba do Vale parks, with 21 megawatts. Toutico has been operational since 2008.
The newly acquired wind farms consist of 43 turbines supplied by Vestas and Nordex.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
