Ficus Capital has completed the purchase of an 18 MW Sol de Bermejo solar photovoltaic project located in the Argentine province of La Rioja.
The facility is acquired from Uruguayan consultancy and developer SEG Ingenieria and German wind power company EAB New Energy GmbH.
The project will sell its energy output to Argentina’s wholesale electric market administrator CAMMESA under the renewable energy market framework locally known as MATER. It is expected to commence operation by 2020.
