Falck Renewables S.p.A., through its subsidiary Kilbraur Wind Energy Ltd., has signed a Power Purchase Agreement to sell all the electricity of its Kilbraur wind farm (UK) to Shell Energy Europe Ltd.

The agreement is expected to come into force in October 2019. The contract provides for the sale of all the power output – and associated benefits, such as ROCs, ROC Recycle and REGOs – from the wind farm near Golspie, Scotland.

The Kilbraur wind farm – which began operations in 2008 – is owned, operated and managed by Kilbraur Wind Energy Ltd. and consists of 27 turbines with a total capacity of 67.5 megawatts, with an annual production of clean energy equivalent to the consumption of around 37,400 homes.
