Falck Renewables S.p.A., through its subsidiary Falck Renewables Finland Oy, has signed a contract for the purchase of two ready-to-build onshore wind farms in Finland, from the Danish group, European Energy.
Both projects are located in the municipality of Karstula and have a total installed capacity of 55 MW. Once in operation, the wind farms are expected to produce around 160 GWh of electricity annually, equivalent to the energy needs of around 19,500 households.
The Enterprise Value of the transaction amounts to approximately EUR7.3 million (US$8.5 million), financed entirely with own financial resources and subject to closing conditions adjustments.
