Facebook, Brookfield Renewable sign PPA for 28.8 MW Lisheen III wind project

Facebook and the Canadian fund, Brookfield Renewable Energy Partners, have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) for the energy produced from the 28.8 MW Lisheen III wind project located in Tipperary County, Ireland.

The development of the facility is expected to last up to two years. 

Once operational, the project will power data centers of Facebook in Ireland.
