EWE has issued an invitation to interested parties for the acquisition of a 26% stake in the company. The stake is worth up to EUR1.6 billion (US$1.8 billion).
EWE AG offers services in energy, telecommunications, and information technology. The company focuses on supply of electricity and natural gas, water management, communication infrastructure, internet connections, billing systems in network control, energy trading, and energy management. EWE serves customers in Germany.
Buyers are expected to submit their bid on March 21, 2018.
