Vinci Energies has completed the acquisition of the offshore wind farm operations and maintenance (O&M) services unit of EWE AG, EWE Offshore Service & Solutions GmbH.
EWE OSS is a market leader as a specialist for the operations management and maintenance services of offshore wind farms in the North Sea with an own control center and 24/7 standby teams, and providing services for their project development and engineering support.
With this acquisition, VINCI Energies will strategically expand its brand Omexom, dedicated to the energy transition, and its services to the offshore wind market. VINCI Energies will take over all employees and all locations of EWE OSS. The Alpha Ventus, Riffgat, and TWB II offshore wind farms will remain in the ownership of EWE.
Following the acquisition by VINCI Energies, EWE Offshore Service & Solutions GmbH will be renamed Omexom Renewable Energies Offshore GmbH. It will become the new Offshore division within the Omexom Transformation business line in Germany.
