European Energy has erected the first wind turbine for it 53.2 MW Zinkgruvan project. The facility is located approximately 70 km north of Linköping, near the northern end of the Vättern Lake. It can supply approximately 40,000 Swedish households once operational.
GE Renewables was commissioned for the construction of the project. The wind farm will consist of 14 GE Renewables turbines with a capacity of 3.8 MW and a rotor size of 137 meters and a hub height of 110 meters.
