GE Renewable Energy has been chosen by the European Energy to supply wind turbines for its 52.3 MW Zinkgruvan wind project. The facility, consists of 14 3.8-MW turbines, is expected to commence operation by 2019.
The Zinkgruvan project is the second construction project in Sweden for European Energy, as it follows the smaller Västanby project (10 MW in total capacity) that is expected to be completed earl next year.
