Envision Energy has been awarded the sale of wind turbines for the construction of the 60 MW wind project located in Dakhla, Morocco.
The project will be co-owned and operated by Nareva, a Moroccan energy company, and ENGIE. Envision's state-of-art EN171-5MW turbines will be utilized for the project. These turbines are designed to deliver high performance and efficiency, making them an ideal solution for wind conditions in this region.
The energy generated in the wind farm will be used to power a large desalination project under the Moroccan government, significantly contributing to Morocco's efforts to reduce carbon emissions and increase its share of renewable energy in the electricity mix.
