Engie SA has signed an agreement with the state to build a 185 MW Nueva Xcala solar photovoltaic park in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala.
The solar park will be built in about 352 hectares of land area with 734,860 photovoltaic modules polycrystalline of 345 Wp each and 72 inverters of 3.34 MW, installed.
The Nueva Xcala Solar PV park is expected to generate electricity enough to supply to about 260,000 homes and offset around 300,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
The solar plant is scheduled to be operational in the first months of 2021.
