Enel, through its unit, Enel Green Power, has started the operation of its 220 MW Magdalena Solar Project located in the Mexican state of Tlaxcala.
The facility was build with around US$165 million investment.
The project consists of 550,000 bifacial modules, which are capable of generating about 640 gigawatts hour (GWh) per year, offsetting an annual emission of approximately 350,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
