Austrian energy developer, Enery Development, is planning to build a 400 MW solar photovoltaic plant in the municipality of Haskovo in southern Bulgaria.
The project will be developed through Enery BG 1 Ltd., a unit of Enery Development. The project will be built on about 400 hectares of land and once operational can generate up to 560 GWh of electricity.
The developers have secured a preliminary consent from the local government of Haskovo to build the project without competitive bidding.
