Energiekontor has sold its Völkersen wind park to an Austrian power utility company. The wind park is located in the municipality of Langwedel in the county Verden in Lower Saxony and is expected to be fully operational in 2022.

The project consists of two wind turbines with a combined generation capacity of 11.2 MW. The annual yield of the wind park is expected to be more than 28m kilowatt-hours, which is enough to provide green energy to almost 10,000 average German households.

Once the wind park is fully operational, Energiekontor will be in charge of technical and commercial management.
