Spanish renewable energy company Energia Aljaval announced on September 29, that it is going to build a 300 MW Solar plant in Chihuahua state, Mexico. The project is named Alsacia solar park. It's expected annual generation is around 840 GWh per year.
The project is planned to be connected to the national grid by the end of next year.
The company is looking for interested parties to the the plants output to. According to the company the new PV facility will avoid the emission of approximately 6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions during the next 20 years.
