Endesa, through its renewable subsidiary Enel Green Power Espana, has started construction on the 50 MW Los Naranjos solar farm in the town of Carmona, Seville province, Spain.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of 2020 and will involve an investment of EUR28.2 million (US$30.5 million).
The Los Naranjos photovoltaic park will be made up of 128,520 photovoltaic panels. To enable its operation, Enel Green Power Spain will build nine electrical transformation centers, an electrical substation, and a 4.5 km underground cable network.
