Enefit closes EUR80mn funding for 138 MW wind projects in Lithuania and Estonia

Enefit Green AS has closed a EUR80 million (US$91 million) debt financing to support the construction of wind farm projects in Lithuania and Estonia. 

Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) has awarded the funding, with a term limit of 12 years, for the construction of Silale II and Akmene projects in Lithuania and the Purtse scheme in Estonia.

The construction of two wind farms in Lithuania has started in 2021 while the 20 MW Purtse wind farm is expected to secure a final investment decision before the end of the first quarter of 2022.
