Eneco plans 50 MW battery energy storage project in Ville-sur-Haine

Eneco is planning to build a 50 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) located in Ville-sur-Haine, Belgium. 

The project will feature 53 "Megapack" battery units from Tesla that can deliver power for 4 hours or 200 MWh in all. Once commissioned, the project will be the largest BESS facility in Belgium. 

Eneco is controlled by Japan's Mitsubishi Corp.
