Empower New Energy and Multiconsult have formed a partnership to expedite the development of renewable energy projects in Africa through the support of the African Development Bank's Sustainable Energy Fund for Africa (SEFA).

The partners will advance the projects through due diligence services, the creation of financial models, country-specific assistance advisory, and general commercial consultancy.

Empower has invested in eight solar power facilities with industrial and commercial off-takers in Egypt, Ghana, and Nigeria, and is currently preparing to execute its pipeline of more than 150 MW of distributed solar across Africa.
