EMESA starts construction of 1.32 MW solar project in PASIP

Empresa Mendocina de Energia SA (EMESA) has started the construction of its 1.32 MW solar photovoltaic project in the province of Mendoza,  Argentina. The PV project will be built at the Park of Services and Industries of Palmira (PASIP). 

The facility is comprised of 4,000 PV panels, it will be connected to the 13.2-KV Miguez Transformer Station. The project can generate 3,520 MWh per year, enough to meet the annual demand of 600 homes.

The project is part of round 1.5 of Argentina's RenovAr energy tender programme. The power output will be sold to Cooperativa Electrica de Godoy Cruz.
