A new solar park has been inaugurated in San Juan province, north-east Argentina. The Las Lomitas park, which has 13.9% of national industry components, required an investment of US$2.1 million and has an installed capacity of 1.7 MW.

The supply contract was signed with Argentina's wholesale power market administrator CAMMESA on 18 May 2017, and commercial operation began on September 25. The park's output provides electricity to more than 1,000 homes.
