Parque Eólico de Namaacha (PEN), a Mozambican project company established and owned by eleQtra, has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) for interested firms to deliver technical advisory services for the development of a 120 MW wind farm in Namaacha.
The technical consultant shall design, prepare and undertake investigations at the Project Site to determine the topographical and geotechnical characteristics at the Namaacha Project site. Geotechnical investigations will include boring of cores to determine soil composition at likely locations of turbines, substations and other significant pieces of infrastructure. Topographical investigations will include mapping of topographical features and rainwater drainage patterns. The Consultant shall produce a report (the “Topographical and Geotechnical Report”) outlining the topographical and geotechnical conditions across the Project Site which shall contain sufficient detail for future contractors to be able to rely on the Consultant’s report rather than conducting their own topographical and geotechnical studies at the Project Site
The deadline for the submission of documents is on February 26, 2019.
