Globeleq has announced that the 120 MW Namaacha wind farm located in southern Mozambique is estimated to reach financial close by mid-2024.

The US$250 million project is being developed by Globeleq and African renewable energy platform, Source Energia. In early January 2024, Source Energia has also signed a Power Purchase Agreement along with connection and concession agreements.
