Romanian power utility Electrica SA has launched a tender for the delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for the development of a 12 MW DC/9.75 MW AC solar photovoltaic plant located in Vulturul commune in Vrancea, Romania.
The project has reached ready-to-build (RTB) status in Focsani County. The successful bidder will need to independently manage the construction of the project until the connection of the plant to the grid. The successful bidder will need to select the most optimum modules, with a minimum of 21% efficiency and 550W output, that will last at least 30 years and be selected from tier 1 manufacturers as identified by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BloombergNEF).
The deadline for the submission of bids is on July 27, 2023.
