Enel Green Power España (EGPE), Endesa's renewable energy subsidiary, has connected the 35 MW Los Arcos wind farm in Malaga, which has an investment of EUR35.5 million (US$39.8 millions).
EGPE was awarded 540 MW of wind and 339 MW of solar at government auctions held in May 2017, with a total investment of more than EUR800 million (US$893.98 million). With the connection of this park, Endesa completes all the power allocated to the company in the 2017 Government auctions.
The Los Arcos wind farm consists of ten wind turbines of 3.5 MW of unit power, which can generate up to 100 GWh per year and offsetting around 66,500 tons of CO2 emission annually.
