Enel Green Power España (EGPE) has started the construction of a new 180 MW wind farm located in Villar de los Navarros in the province of Zaragoza, Spain. The investment involved amounts up to EUR181 million (US$221.3 million).
The TICO WIND plant will come into operation at the beginning of 2022, and, will have the capacity to generate about 471 GWh per year. This volume of production will prevent the annual emission into the atmosphere of 385,505 tons of CO2. It will consist of 43 wind turbines, 26 of them with 3.65 MW of unit power and 17 with 5 MW of unit power.
